Difficult weekend at Spa Francorchamps - Belgium

Several technical problems affected Glauco's results in Spa, for the GTCup Europe Championship. For this event he was supported by Eugenio Pisani's SP Racing Team.

On Saturday race he is only 5th in class, while on Sunday he cuts the finish line in 2nd position for the category.

GLAUCO: “It was a very intense weekend in Belgium. Various technical problems have put my staff to the test, conducted by Eugenio Pisani who, for this occasion, acted as Team Manager.

We all worked together to prepare the Porsche as best as possible also for an important coming appointment: our debut at the Supercup championship which will take place at Red Bull Ring at the end of June. The Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup is the single-make world championship par excellence, it supports F1 on race weekends in Europe, so for us It's very important to present ourselves in a good shape.

Thanks to the excellent understanding between the Pisani team and my historic engineer Lorenzo Martinelli, I would say that we can be satisfied, because in Sunday's race we reached the podium with a second place category.

We will continue our program in the European Championship with this new organization and we will be present at the next appointment in France at Paul Ricard, at the end of July. Now, all our attention is turned to the next race at Red Bull

Ring in the Porsche Supercup where, for the first time in my career, my role will be as the Team Manager and I will have to manage the drivers Giorgio Maggi and Eugenio Pisani.

Diversi problemi tecnici condizionano i risultati di Glauco, che a Spa, nel GTCup Europe, è supportato dal Team SP Racing di Eugenio Pisani.

Nella gara del sabato è solo 5° di classe, mentre la domenica taglia il traguardo in 2° posizione di categoria.

GLAUCO: “E’ stato un weekend molto intenso in Belgio. Varie problematiche tecniche hanno messo a dura prova il mio staff, condotto da Eugenio Pisani che, in questa occasione, fungeva da Team Manager.

Abbiamo lavorato tutti insieme per preparare al meglio la Porsche anche in vista di un importante appuntamento: il nostro debutto nel campionato Supercup che avverrà a Red Bull Ring a fine giugno. Il Mobil 1 Porsche Supercup è il mondiale monomarca per eccellenza, affianca la F1 nei weekend di gara in Europa, quindi è per noi importantissimo presentarci bene.

Grazie all’ottima intesa tra il team di Pisani e il mio ingegnere storico Lorenzo Martinelli, direi che possiamo ritenerci soddisfatti, perché nella gara di domenica abbiamo raggiunto il podio con un secondo posto di categoria.

Continueremo il nostro programma nel Campionato Europeo con questa nuova organizzazione e saremo presenti al prossimo appuntamento in Francia a Paul Ricard, alla fine di luglio.

Ora tutta la nostra attenzione é rivolta alla prossima gara al Red Bull Ring nel Porsche Supercup dove, per la prima volta nella mia carriera, il mio ruolo sarà quello di Team Manager e dovrò gestire i piloti Giorgio Maggi ed Eugenio Pisani.
