PORSCHE MOBIL 1 SUPERCUP - Austrian Grand Prix

Glauco Solieri, with Swisseagle, makes his debut in style at the most important and famous one-branded Championship in the world. As a Team Manager he organized a new team, joining forces with SP Racing and bringing the drivers Giorgio Maggi and Eugenio Pisani to debut in the Porsche SuperCup.

Glauco: “I am very satisfied with the work done with my new team, together with the drivers Giorgio Maggi and Eugenio Pisani. My new role as Team Manager is giving me new emotions and great satisfactions. This is a double role as a driver and a team member Director which I like very much. In the Porsche SuperCup Championship, very fast and very difficult, I have course in the past as a pilot;

Last winter I had the chance to make contact with Porsche's top management and I managed to get a double invitation as a Guest Team in two of the races that accompany F1: a Red Bull Ring in Austria, from where we are just returned, and at the SPA circuit in Belgium which will be at the end of July. I was asked by the Porsche Manager for the utmost professionalism to be performed me, my team and my drivers. Today I can affirm with satisfaction that the result achieved over the weekend goes beyond my expectations. Our drivers and team have proven themselves capable, professional and can be considered among the best at international level. I offer my personal compliments to Giorgio Maggi who, despite the very little knowledge of the Porsche GT3 Cup, he managed to obtain a decent performance also thanks to his collaboration with the Team and with the highly trained Engineer Lorenzo Martinelli. Struggling without hesitation against world-class riders, he reached the end race a brilliant 19th position out of a total of 28 participants. I also give lots of applause to Eugenio Pisani who had already demonstrated in his career to be a champion. It succeeded, despite not knowing the Red Bull Ring circuit, to complete the race in good position thanks also to the excellent start that allowed him to climb various valuable positions. Just an infraction, in my opinion perhaps too severe on the part of the race direction, it caused him to be relegated in 22nd position, when he had instead shown that he could fight for a mid-table position. The Team was perfect, impeccable, supported me and... listened to me. With great pride I truly thank all the mechanics and sponsors who gave us confidence to face this challenging trip. Now we look ahead by continuing to follow the 2024 programs which they see me engaged in this dual role as driver/team manager. See you soon!

Manager ha organizzato una nuova squadra, unendo le forze con SP Racing e portando i piloti Giorgio Maggi ed Eugenio Pisani a debuttare nel Porsche SuperCup. Glauco : “Sono molto soddisfatto del lavoro svolto con la mia nuova squadra, insieme ai piloti Giorgio Maggi ed Eugenio Pisani.

Il mio nuovo ruolo di Team Manager mi sta dando nuove emozioni e belle soddisfazioni. Si tratta di un doppio incarico di pilota e di Team Manager che mi piace moltissimo.

Nel Campionato Porsche SuperCup, velocissimo e difficilissimo, ho corso in passato come pilota ; lo scorso inverno ho avuto la possibilità di prendere contatto con i vertici della Porsche e sono riuscito a ottenere un doppio invito come Team Ospite in due delle gare che accompagnano la F1: a Red Bull Ring in Austria, da dove siamo appena rientrati, e presso il circuito di SPA in Belgio che sarà a fine luglio.

Mi era stato chiesto dai Manager di Porsche la massima professionalità

da parte mia, del mio team e dei miei piloti. Oggi posso affermare con

soddisfazione che il risultato ottenuto nel weekend va oltre le mie

aspettative. I nostri piloti e il team si sono dimostrati capaci, professionali e possono essere considerati tra i migliori a livello internazionale.

Faccio i miei personali complimenti a Giorgio Maggi che, nonostante la

pochissima conoscenza della Porsche GT3 Cup, é riuscito a ottenere

una discreta prestazione anche grazie alla sua collaborazione con il

Team e con il preparatissimo Ingegnere Lorenzo Martinelli. Lottando

senza esitazione contro piloti di caratura mondiale, ha raggiunto a fine

gara una brillante 19esima posizione su un totale di 28 partecipanti.Faccio inoltre tanti applausi a Eugenio Pisani che aveva già dimostrato nella sua carriera di essere un campione. È riuscito, nonostante non conoscesse il circuito di Red Bull Ring, a portare a termine la gara in buona posizione grazie anche all’ottima partenza che gli ha permesso di calare varie preziose posizioni. Solamente un’infrazione, a mio parere forse troppo severa da parte della direzione gara, lo faceva retrocedere in 22esima posizione, quando invece aveva dimostrato di poter lottare per una posizione a metà classifica.

Il Team poi é stato pazzesco, impeccabile, mi ha assecondato e

ascoltato.

Con tanto orgoglio ringrazio veramente tutti i meccanici e gli sponsor che ci hanno dato fiducia per affrontare questa impegnativa trasferta.

Ora guardiamo avanti continuando a seguire i programmi del 2024 che mi vedono impegnato in questo doppio ruolo pilota/team manager.
